An article on Forbes has brilliantly summarized 10 advantages of waking up early which I'm about the share here as well. Well, it is served as a motivator and a reminder for myself on why I'm relentlessly getting up early in the morning.

1) Earn Better Grades
In a 2008 Texas University study, college students who identified themselves as "morning people" earned a full point higher on their GPAs than those who were "night owls" (3.5 vs. 2.5). Good grades help students secure better career opportunities.
2) More Proactive
Harvard biologist Christoph Randler discovered in 2008 that early risers are more proactive. They were more likely to agree with statements like "I spend time identifying long-range goals for myself" and "I feel in charge of making things happen."
3) Anticipate Problems

Randler's research also revealed that "morning people" are more likely to anticipate problems and minimize them efficiently, which leads to more successful in the business world.
4) Better Planners

Early risers report using their morning quiet time for organization, goal-setting and planning out their days and weeks ahead.
5) Time To Exercise

Many successful businesspeople get up early to exercise (before the family is awake and their official work days start). Regular exercise boosts mood and fitness, provides energy on the job and helps create deeper sleep cycles.
6) Get Better Sleep

Sleep experts say that if you go to bed earlier and wake up earlier, your body will be more in tune with the earth's circadian rhythms, which offers more restorative sleep.
7) More Optimistic

Various studies have shown that morning people exhibit character traits like optimism, being agreeable, satisfaction and conscientiousness. Night owls, while linked with creativity and intelligence, are more likely to exhibit traits like depression, pessimism and being neurotic.

8) Easier Commutes
Several early risers report easier, less congested commutes due to leaving earlier than the crowds.

9) A Quiet Hour
Those who arrive at the office before their colleagues say they relish that first hour or two that provide quiet, uninterrupted time to focus.

10) More Family Time
If you've gotten a jump on the day, you'll have more quality time in the evenings to spend with family. Instead of bringing work home, you can relax and unwind.

There goes to 10 reasons why we should be a early riser than a late owl. It's time to get back to work. Now we are working on a launching on our latest products, check us out on (Hint: it is red and pink in colour)

No space to do make home vegetable garden? Think again.

I'm always a big fan of tiny houses as these tiny-home dwellers truly practice a minimalist lifestyle. In fact, one of my goal is to own one of these and travel across the globe.

Today I would like to share one of their articles, about small space gardening. They introduced a few good vegetable garden ideas and I'm going to summaries them here.

1) Square foot Garden.
An amazing amount of food can be grown in small spaces when smart design practices are applied. One of our favorite books about gardening is “Square Foot Gardening” by Mel Bartholomew. By installing permanent or semi permanent fencing, you can dig a garden or use raised beds. You can grow enough vegetables for one person during the summer in a 4’x4′ raised bed using the “Square Foot Gardening” principles. Obviously, in Malaysia we have 'summer' all year round and take makes things even more easier.

2) Growing on exterior walls
By creating trellis frames that secure to the exterior of your house (without damaging it of course), you can create a wall of edibles. You can even use simple building materials like rain gutters to grow some plants with shallow root systems.
This system can yield vegetables
as well as decorative

Even rain gutters can produce extra square footage
for shallow rooted vegetables like greens
Indoor Wall Garden can be quite pleasing to the eyes as well

3) Hanging Gardens
Hanging systems are an option too and you can attach chains or ropes to any eave overhang you may have. This is one way to grow vegetables without sacrificing extra space. It is feasible in apartments and condos too.

4) Tower Hydroponic
Introducing the food growing tower. By using hydroponics, you don’t need any soil and a single tower can grow quite a lot of food. However this can be quite expensive to own but you could get quite a lot of food out of even just one tower.

These hydroponic systems can be moved easily once they are emptied.
They can yield quite a lot of food as growth is faster in these than in soil based plants
